Early forays Ito London

Only a few days in and London's retail sector is benefiting from Mrs Reid's pent up shopping urges. I've also done a quick run on the Spitalsfield markets and Portobello Rd and picked up a few little bits and pieces and replaced my lost umbrella with a nice new one from James Smith & Sons. Master Reid and I are both enjoying spotting expensive cars, of which there is no shortage where we are staying : just in the garage under the block of flats we're living in there is a Ferrari, Aston Martin and MB AMG SL55 to name a few. Went to the Natural History museum which was far busier than when I was last there 20 years ago. Huge queues and very crowded inside. Nice to ride the Tube again. Brought back heaps of memories.
