Richmond

Perfect, sunny weather demanded a day out so we hopped on the Tube down to Richmond and had a very pleasant wander around town and then down to the river where we boarded a restaurant in a boat moored on the towpath for a bite to eat. We walked off lunch with a long stroll, which included a little interaction with the squirrels inhabiting a small 17th century churchyard. It was then off for afternoon tea at Kew and home. It's a bank holiday long weekend tomorrow so we'll stick close to home to avoid the crowds.
